I know I should not fret, as I am probably one of the 'better off' students in my grade... however, despite this logic I cannot help but FREAK OUT! My written ELA final is on Monday, roughly two days from now, and my fingers are literally shaking! My ELA teacher informed the class that we would have access to a dictionary and a thesaurus, but if we used 'large words' she would know we were abusing our 'freedom' and our marks would take a significant flogging. How will she spot the difference from a person who knows a word from a person who simply scans through the thesaurus? HOW THE HELL WILL I COPE? Her vocabulary is, if you don't mind me sa
